ID / Birth Certificate

• Friends can request ID or Birth Certificate funding assistance.


• ADOT regular IDs cost $12.00.   Air Travel IDs, which will be required by TSA starting in October 2021, cost $25.00.


• Friends can be issued a voucher to take to ADOT and obtain their ID.   ADOT will notify SVdP when a check is necessary to pay for the ID.


• The usual limit is one ID every calendar year (January through December).   Ex-prisoners may need an ID every 6 months.   The max dollar limit per Friend in a calendar year is $50.00.


• The Cost of Birth Certificates vary according to the county/state that issues the Birth Certificate.   See Cochise County Vital Records for listings of Arizona and all other states vital records offices.
